EXPERIENCE
2018 - 2025: Rumpus Animation (animator, clean up artist, storyboard-artist, designer):
2018-2020, Battletoads(Toon Boom Harmony) Clean up and 2D in-game animation; I started as a clean up artist and later moved up to an animator position after a trial period; I had a good level of creative freedom which allowed me to experiment and push myself to improve my skills.
2021- 2022, Disney’s Illusion Island(Toon Boom Harmony & Adobe Animate) Clean up and 2D in-game animation; Disney were very strict about keeping character designs and animations on-brand.This was particularly challenging with the monster designs and required creative solutions. I also had an extra role animating on the cut-scenes in Adobe Animate.
2022, DOOM (Toon Boom Harmony) Director, Animator and Clean Up artist. A 20-second Ident commissioned by Rumpus where I show-cased my abilities as a 2D animator and indulged in my love of metal.
2023, Greenpeace - Sanctuary (Toon Boom Harmony) 2D Lead Animator and Clean up artist. A short film where I animated one of the main characters (an eel) and got to do a lot of research to keep the aquatic movements believable but fun at the same time.
2023, Threads of Time (Toon Boom Harmony) Directing, Lead Animator and Clean up Artist. An anime-style game trailer. My first time directing; I helped my teammates with several references from different animated shows and suggested improvements on design/animation timings choices, along with trying to keep it all consistent with the client’s previously commissioned work.
2025, Grounded Trailer (Toon Boom Harmony) 2D hand drawn animation and clean up work on a short animated sequence where the goal was to emulate the 80’s tv show He-Man and their frame economy practices.
2025, Studio Meala, Gameoverse (Glitch): (TVPaint) Lead Clean Up Artist at Studio Meala on the Gameoverse Pilot; In this role I was responsible for assigning and reviewing shots as well as giving feedback to the clean up artists. I worked with the production team to figure out how to overcome setbacks with the deadlines/budget and was responsible for leading a team of 4 clean up artists, making sure they were happy and helping work out any difficulties. Additionally, I worked on animation retakes/fixes before these were sent to the artists.
2026, Studio Meala, Super Eye Patch Wolf Webcomic Trailer: (TVPaint) Senior Clean Up Artist
2026, Creative Youth Network Bristol: 8h Mentor sessions with a young creative at the start of their animation career, giving advice on their current personal project and how to display their work on their online portfolios & get in touch with studios.
2026, Rumpus, NDA: (Clip Studio Paint) Character Design and Animation & Clean Up work on projects under NDA
2026, Studio Meala, My Two Cars (Adult Swim/Green Street Pictures): Lead Clean Up artist on a tv series where I supervise & manage 5 clean up artists, working with the Production team to ensure all is on track.
